About Me

My name is Bharathi Bhaskaran. I am a mother to a 18year old teenager. My innate nature has always made me approach children like a mother since my childhood. To my younger brother who is 9yrs younger to me, I am more like a mother to him then sister.

When I had given birth to my child, motherhood embraced me like a warm blanket in winters. It was such a surreal experience. I became more aware alert and alive. I started observing my son's growth inquisitively. Paying attention to him taught me so much. Trust me life teaches us more if we are ready to learn than any book.

But in today's world, a person is judged by his/her certificates than his knowledge gained from life experiences. So to be recognized by the society, I had to bag few certificates. I studied B.Com, MBA and Masters in Psychology.

I am Founder of PrimeX Ivy Academy. I had worked with many Institutions/ Organisations for past 21 odd years. My working experience and life experience gave me lot of insights into our patterns of thinking, conditioning etc.. I had always wanted to work with children (Tweens) and evade the issue of struggle and strife of what to do with life...I see so much pain in people around me who are just surviving and not thriving.

I call myself as a Child Life Architect. (CLA) My mission is to create and design beautiful future for the next generation. Everyone asks me Why Tweens? I noticed that during these years child goes through monumental shifts physically mentally and emotionally. And kids that age generally are called disobedient restless or reckless. Whereas they need the most attention care and love from us. And the shifting eneregies must be channelised in right direction. Parents must be mindful of the age and must handle them delicately. Its a subject that needs lot of sessions that will unfold in my "mind your mind" class for parents

Lets look at :

What is Child Psychology ?

Child psychology deals not only with how children grow physically, but with their mental, emotional, and social development as well.

This diversity is organized by two unifying themes,

1.) Developmental-ism : the shift from age-specific to general developmental analysis,

2.) Contextual-ism: both ecological approaches and the social and scientific contexts.

The New Age Child Psychology

There is less emphasis on Nomothetic Theories, a move toward eclectic Neo-Functionalism, and a renewed emphasis on ethological or system approaches is in practice now.

Though Experts differ in their responses to some of the bigger questions in child psychology, such as whether early experiences matter more than later ones or nature or nurture plays a greater role in certain aspects of development.

I WOULD LIKE TO SAY ITS a MIX OF EARLY & LATER, NATURE & NURTURE BOTH BUT EARLY PLAYS KEY ROLE IN DEFINING THE LATER AND NATURE AS WELL..

However, development involves much more than the influences that arise from genetics or personal characteristics within an individual. Environmental factors such as social relationships and the culture in which we live also play essential roles.

The Social : Relationships with peers and adults have an effect on how child thinks, learns and develops. Families, schools and peer groups all make up an important part of the social context. The Cultural : The culture in which a child lives in contributes to a set of values, customs, shared assumptions and ways of living that influence development throughout the lifespan. Culture may play a role in how children relate to their parents, the type of education they receive and the type of childcare that is provided.

The Socioeconomic : Social class can also play a major role in child development. Socioeconomic status (SES), is based upon a number of different factors including education people have, money they earn, the job they do and where they live. Such factors can have a major impact on child psychology.

We will be revolutionizing the child psychology in another 10years by our core research, unexplored & undiscovered new theories that will change the very nature of Parenting and schooling.

My Life is an endeavour to help children find their true life path.
